Description
This is my portrait of Nelson Mandela, featured in my 'Think different' Series.
I composed the portrait using various shades of blue and grey in an attempt to capture his cool, calm and wise exterior. The composition of the painting draws attention Mandela�s unshakeable determination, courage and belief in the face of absolute adversity. These qualities are highlighted by the dichotomy between the harsh, rigid application of paint, and the warm, kind expression of the face.
